At VOConline, we
are committed to respecting your privacy, and ensuring that the
information you provide to us is protected. Any business or customer
information that you provide to VOConline is your information, and you
have the right to decide how it is used.
You may visit
the VOConline website and browse without providing any information.
However, if you would like to sign up to become a New Product Evaluator,
you will be asked to give general information that is securely stored in
our evaluator database. This information is kept confidential, and you
will only be contacted if the information you have provided matches the
evaluator profile for a specific customer feedback program.
As part of our
VOConline community, we may send you an occasional email containing
information about us, updates on our products, upcoming customer feedback
programs, and general customer or evaluator satisfaction questions. At
times, we may request that you update your profile information so we can
best match your interests with new product evaluation programs.
You may, at
any time, request to be removed from our database of new product
evaluators by simply sending an email to
remove@voconline.com.
If you apply to become a New Product Evaluator of a product or service of
one of our clients, your application information will be considered
confidential and will be used STRICTLY by our professional services team
for the purposes of evaluating your candidacy into that program, and, if
selected, for supporting your technical needs during the program. You may
be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement with the client.
This information will not be distributed or
released to any other party.
Due to the existing regulatory and technical environment, we cannot
guarantee that all of your communications and information will never be
disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this policy. By way of
example (without limiting the foregoing), we may be forced to disclose
information to the government or third parties under certain
circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access your
communications. Further, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose any
information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as
we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate. Therefore,
although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do
not promise, and you should not expect, that your information or
communications will remain private.
We use industry standards to safeguard the confidentiality of your
personal information, such as firewalls, data encryption and SSL
technology. These are the same technologies that most websites use to
safeguard credit card information and other confidential information.
However, having said that, "perfect security" does not exist on the
Internet (or anywhere, for that matter.)
